Well after a life time of dreaming, months of planning and weeks of writing check lists we are ready to cast off. It has been a very consuming time in our lives but we are now totally provisioned and all systems have been checked and rechecked.
Our friends and crew, Andrew and Doug, have arrived and we are thrilled to have them on board. Both are very experienced boaters and we look forward to a great trip to Puerto
Rico. We are leaving from St. Augustine, Fl today and our next update will be in six or seven days from Fajardo, PR.
We are planning on cruising south along the Florida coast for 20 hrs and then heading due east, somewhere from the Ft Pierce area and crossing the Gulf Stream on Friday am. Our course from there will be easterly until we meet up somewhere at a predetermined ocean rendezvous point with our cruising companions, Milt and Judy Baker and crew aboard the 47 Nordhavn Bluewater. From there, we head approximately Southeast to Fajardo.
We hope for an uneventful trip.
